: Jan, do you have the address of where I can get Zebina Moses' book? I still can't find it on the web. Thanks

Chuck - not sure if you read my message about the book or not - I plan on going to Frankfort this week to copy the book. Also - just got back from Myrtle Beach. Actually, we stay in Cherry Grove which is north of North Myrtle Beach. I was so excited to see some of the places which are on our land records. We go into North Myrtle Beach via Rt. 9 off of I95 and going down Rt.9 we passed Drowning Creek Road and several other names I have seen on our land records. Rt.9 goes right between the Waccamaw and Little Rivers. Actually, we stay just a little south of the Little River and we go up there to Calabash every trip. Also passed over the Wateree River and also a section of the Broad River just outside of Columbia, SC. Passed a lot of these between Columbia and Florence. I am going to go back down there the last half of July. I am going back to Columbia, Charleston, and also going to go to Georgetown which is where the Prince George Parish is. I went to the library in Myrtle Beach which is all I could manage but I didn't find too much. I did find some interesting books and found a new reference to Thomas Moses back in South Carolina early 1800's. So, if Thomas Moses was in Kentucky in 1780 (land record), then maybe he went back to South Carolina. Maybe that explains why he is not on the 1790 Kentucky census. OF course, just because these people bought land doesn't necessarily mean they were there on site, does it? Couldn't they have bought land in absentia? I didn't make it back to Knoxville over the weekend like I wanted. I hope to come next week but I may not make it until I make my trip in July. I am doing job letters and I am going to Minnesota in early July. I will call you in a few days or you can call me - how is your new job going?
