Hello group,
I have just discovered this group, I am related to Moses through my great grandmother. Her name was Mary Etta (Moses) Strunk married to Thomas Murray Strunk of McCreary Co. Kentucky. This county was formed in 1912 from Wayne and Pulaski and I believe Whitley. I have seen her name in a few variations but this is the one on a copy of an old deed I have. Her father was Elius (Tiger)Moses, s/o Joshua, s/o Joshua the Revolutionary War veteran from NC pension warrant #25058,530,594 information about this line is appreciated. I do have a copy of The Moses Tribe of Kentucky which is very informative, but the best stuff doesn't always come from such sources. Hope to hear from someone on this line so let me hear from you soon. Oh by the way there are in my mothers hands photos of her Moses relations from Elius on to about the early 1920's. I can't identify all of them and help here would be good too from someone in that lineage. Thanks.
